Assessment & Consultation: We'll review your submission and schedule a free consultation to discuss your reptile’s needs.
Care Plan or Surrender Options: We provide tailored recommendations or walk you through our safe surrender process.
Logistics & Transport: We coordinate a safe transfer and provide a health exam for the reptile.
Ongoing Support: We’ll keep you informed with photos and progress reports.
Rehoming & Adoption: Each reptile is featured on our website; potential adopters complete an application and home-check.
Lil Stank's Transformation
When Lil Stank came to Stone & Scale Rescue, she was in poor condition. Her previous owner had been handed the responsibility by a friend who didn’t know how to care for her. After a thorough health check and some adjustments to her habitat and diet, we quickly realized Lil Stank was simply neglected, not in hibernation.
With the right care, warmth, and proper nutrition, Lil Stank blossomed into a healthy, vibrant bearded dragon. Now, she’s thriving and happier than ever, full of energy, and loving every moment of her new life with us. She’s a true reminder of the power of rescue and the difference proper care can make.
Blues Transformation

This chameleon came to us in a dire state, severely neglected and with a web of lies surrounding his care. He was kept in a poor environment, with inadequate lighting, no proper food, and no misting system. Despite being told otherwise, we discovered he was blind, but that didn't stop us from giving him the life he deserved.
We quickly set him up in a spacious, well-planted enclosure with the correct lighting, humidity, and a carefully planned diet filled with the nutrients and vitamins he needed. Though he can’t see, his quality of life has drastically improved. He’s now much happier, more active, and safer in an environment designed just for him
